Yes, the Software Informer review refers to the demo version of the application which can be downloaded free of charge from the official web page. BASCOM-AVR demo can compile up to 4KB and it is recommended to temporarily disable your security program while you're installing the program. The full version of the software can be acquired for 116 dollars.
